MChiro, Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C)
Registered with the General Chiropractic Council
Calum graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a Masters of Chiropractic (MChiro) in 2013 and has been practising in our Southend clinic since. Calum was first introduced to Chiropractic as a teenager following a short episode of back pain, and shortly following begun his studies to be a Chiropractor himself.
Calum specialises in diagnosis with the use of a thorough case history, physical examination including orthopaedic and neurological examination and x-rays where necessary. His course included extensive training in radiology enabling him to both take and read x-ray imaging. Once a diagnosis is made he will tailor an appropriate recommendation and treatment plan or a referral will be made if Chiropractic is not the appropriate form of treatment.
Chiropractic aims to address the root cause of musculoskeletal disorders, helping with both short term discomfort and long term improvement of function. Calum enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds with a variety of conditions; helping patients out of pain to improve their overall health.
Dr Calum (D.C) specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal conditions; this means problems with the nerves, muscle, bones and the joints in the human body.
