MChiro, Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C)
Registered with the General Chiropractic Council
Gemma is an experienced Chiropractor who graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2007. Having always had a fairly healthy and active lifestyle, chiropractic naturally appealed to her.
As a teen she competed in athletics at national level, before teaching various fitness classes and then completing her personal training qualification. After graduating she worked at practices in both Wales and Essex before settling at Life Chiropractic Clinics where she has been successfully treating patients with a wide range of complaints for over 10 years.
Gemma specialises in diagnosis with the use of a thorough case history, physical examination including orthopaedic and neurological examination and x-rays where necessary. Once a diagnosis is made she will tailor an appropriate recommendation and treatment plan or a referral will be made if Chiropractic is not the appropriate form of treatment. Chiropractic aims to address the root cause of musculoskeletal disorders, primarily of the spine, helping with both short term discomfort and long term improvement of function. Gemma is passionate about chiropractic care for clients in need of pain relief and correction and also for clients who seek chiropractic care for its wellness benefits.
Dr Gemma (D.C) specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal conditions; this means problems with the nerves, muscle, bones and the joints in the human body.
