Required skills and experience:
You’ll need to have completed a 4-year degree or postgraduate master’s course recognised by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). You will also need to be registered with the GCC before you can work as a chiropractor. Positions at Life Chiropractic Clinics suit both experienced chiropractors and graduates.
Our graduate scheme offers the perfect place to launch your career. We offer an initial two-week training schedule to help your transition from a college clinic setting to your new working life. The training will be delivered by your dedicated mentor with the addition of support by our experienced and successful chiropractic and clinical team.

Established in 1991 our first clinic opened with the ethos that chiropractic care should be available to better the lives of those living within our local communities. The ethos continues to remain at heart of the business and we are proud of our four large clinics which are situated in highly visible locations across Essex.

We do not offer free adjustments through screenings or Groupon offers. To help this we have a dedicated in-house marketing team responsible for delivering a steady flow of new patients across the Life Chiropractic Group. This leaves you free to provide the highest level of care for your patients.

How we support you:
We have an in-house support team who oversee the operations of the business beyond client care and customer services. The investment of personnel allow our practitioners to remain client focused and without any additional workloads.
Training and Development:
Each year we arrange 2-3 CPD sessions to ensure our chiropractic team stay up to date with recent research and techniques and to support the GCC requirements of practice.
We understand that your professional career, including that of a self-employed position can be daunting and thus offer assistance with tax and accounting from our experienced General Manager.
Initial Retainer and Potential Earnings:
The initial retainer is £500 per week for up to three months to help you get your new professional career off to a great start without the worry of financial stress.
Across the Life Chiropractic Clinics Ltd group the average working hours are 36.5hrs of which average salary of our self-employed chiropractors is £70,000 before tax and national insurance.

A day in the life of a Chiropractor at Life Chiropractic Clinics:
Your day-to-day clinical duties as a Chiropractor may include:
- using your hands to treat disorders of bones, muscles and joints
- manipulating the spine
- treating neck, back and shoulder pain
- treating sciatica and leg problems
- helping clients with sports injuries, poor posture and joint and muscle pain
- making sure your client’s condition is suitable for treatment
- discussing their symptoms and health problems in detail
- carrying out examinations, sometimes using x-rays
- designing a programme of treatment for each individual client
- giving advice on lifestyle, diet and exercise to support recovery
