United Chiropractic Association

Dr Marie-Claude Lambert is a fully registered member of the United Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association. She is the principal chiropractor at LIFE Chiropractic based in the North East of England. She is French-Canadian, being brought up just outside Montreal but her home is now in the North East. Her husband spent his childhood in Tanfield Lea in Co Durham and her youngest daughter is a Geordie! Marie-Claude became involved in chiropractic as an international Tae Kwon Do competitor. A 3rd Dan black belt who was regularly competing, at the age of 19, she found that she was having problems with her hips from all the kicking she was doing. After working with a chiropractor for a year she found that not only had the pain symptoms completely gone but also that major digestive problems which she had suffered with as a young girl had disappeared. Also she found that her general health had vastly improved (she was getting far fewer coughs and colds and general ‘sickliness’). After asking the chiropractior how this could be happening, as the only thing which was different in her life was the chiropractic care, he explained the Principles of Chiropractic. It was this episode which inspired her to become a chiropractor. Dr Marie-Claude graduated from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in 1999. Shortly after this she moved to the UK where she practised for 3 years in the South West of England, at Plymouth Chiropractic Clinic. It was at this time that she became involved in the newly formed United Chiropractic Association. At the end of her time in Plymouth she was regularly seeing babies born addicted to drugs and alcohol who had been brought to her by their foster mother. The foster mother found that under chiropractic care the initially unsettled infants calmed down and began to feed, sleep and thrive. This together with some other great results with babies and children (improving their health to the stage that they no longer needed asthma inhalers, stopped bed-wetting, relief from colic) focussed her efforts on post graduate training for paediatric care. After completing several paediatric certified courses she joined the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association to empower herself to better look after pre and post-natal mums. With two babies of her own both born at home with midwife support, Marie-Claude is perfectly trained and experienced for this role. Indeed as a family practioner she is seeing more and more mums and children in her Practice before, during and after their pregnancy. Dr Marie-Claude is passionate about restoring Spinal Power for teh whole family, gently and with precision. She understands and witnesses, on an almost daily basis, that a chiropractic adjustment has the power to affect every level of human performance from new-born to senior. She has found that her vision is supported by her friends and colleagues in the United Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association.
